A fresh coat of paint can hide a lot of history. I created this website to level the playing field between landlords and tenants. It pulls directly from NYC Open Data to grade buildings on millions of datapoints: factoring in bedbug infestations, evictions, chronic plumbing issues, litigation history, and more.

My goal is to put the city’s data directly into the hands of the people who actually live here.
